Hounds of the Baskervilles evokes the wide, wind-scoured moors of Devon—where fog settles low across the heather and distant manor windows glow faintly against a slate horizon. The palette is grounded in weathered brown and deep espresso, softened by mist grey and parchment cream. Flecks of muted amber appear like distant lamplight in gathering dusk.

This is a colorway built on atmosphere. The darker tones lend gravity and structure, while the lighter passages break through like mist lifting from the earth. Subtle speckling adds texture without overwhelming stitch definition, allowing cables, ribbing, and textured patterns to hold their form beautifully.

Each skein carries natural tonal variation that enhances the depth and movement within the finished fabric. In simple stitches, the browns and greys blend into a rich, storm-washed field. In textured patterns, the shifts create shadow and dimension reminiscent of wind across the moor.

A literary colorway—mysterious without spectacle.
